What We Do
Three Pathways to Activate Impact
Introducing a proven model to communities across the country
We've cracked the code on something powerful: live event activations that transform children's relationship with food and culture in real-time.
What we're doing:
Partnering with festivals, cultural institutions, and community organizations across the country to bring our immersive food experiences to new audiences
Expanding and activating our tested model of sensory tasting events that invite kids to go on food adventures
Creating touchpoints where children can experience cultures through taste, smell, conversation, and community
Activating: Live Events & Experiences
The impact: Every event plants seeds of openness in young minds, proving that kids get excited to explore the unfamiliar when we remove bias.
Developing: Educational Curriculum for Elementary Schools
Building a strong foundation for classroom learning
We're leveraging the extensive catalog of stories we’ve curated to develop a robust educational infrastructure for elementary classrooms and homes.
What we're doing:
Identifying clear learning objectives and developmental benchmarks that align with educational standards while preserving the joy and discovery at our core
Working with curriculum experts to develop and test educational units that bring our world of food-based cultural exploration into schools
Creating teacher-ready curriculum and family-friendly resources that make implementing our approach simple and sustainable
Identifying future content platforms that build upon our strong foundation, allowing us to bring stories to life in new and engaging ways
The impact: When a third-grader tries Thai basil or learns about where rice grows, they're not just expanding their palate, they're building neural pathways for empathy, curiosity, and cultural appreciation that will serve them for life.
Creating the next generation of innovative thinkers
This is our most ambitious frontier: a groundbreaking program that uses food as a gateway for teaching middle schoolers the value of entrepreneurially thinking.
What we're doing:
Developing a module-based program that positions food not just as nourishment or cultural bridge, but as a platform for innovation and enterprise
Creating pilot programming that focuses on critical thinking, problem solving, community engagement and coalition building as teachable skills that will transfer to anything they do in life
Establishing partnerships with thought leaders in higher education that will collaborate with schools and youth organizations to test models that can scale to communities everywhere
Incubating: Entrepreneurial Exploration for Middle School
The impact: Middle school is when many children begin forming their identities and worldviews. By engaging them as creators and visionary thinkers rather than just consumers, we're equipping them with tools to be architects of a more connected, innovative future.
The Through-Line
Each of these pathways shares a common DNA: the belief that when we engage children's senses and imaginations through food, we're doing more than teaching them to eat adventurously. We're teaching them to live adventurously, with open minds, open hearts, and the confidence to feel safe in the unfamiliar.
